Research

I conduct collaborative, interdisciplinary research focused on people living with mental illness and substance use disorder. I have studied how changes to the Medicaid program impact coverage, access, financial outcomes, and recidivism. My methods include novel observational techniques applied to large administrative datasets and surveys.
